Rainbow trout caught on Coyote Creek Ranch

Waking up at 4 A.M. is only enjoyable if the woods or the river is involved. We watched the sunrise as we traveled over the Teton Pass on our way to fish Montana Live Water. We had big plans to enjoy the next two days fishing the waters of Montana for the first time. It proved to be an angler’s heaven. With turn-offs and public access to waters around every corner, we were amazed at how much passion the entire state of Montana has for fishing. » More: Montana Fly Fishing Trip

Bonefishing in the Bahamas

March 7th, 2013

This time last year, the Live Water Team was gearing up for bonefishing in the Bahamas…one can always dream we are back on the islands, right?

The MV Bonefish is an 82-foot luxury catamaran that plies the waters of the Berry Islands, Chub Cay, Moore’s Island, Red Shank, Whale Cay, Little Abaco and a host of other lightly visited cays to the north and west. If you long to fish in places where established fishing lodges are the exception rather than the rule, the comfort and exclusivity of the MV Bonefish might be the ticket. During our visit, we had the pleasure to spend time with our friends at Frontiers Travel. » More: Bonefishing in the Bahamas

1st Annual BTT Bonefish Tagging Challenge

June 22nd, 2012

On May 18th Craig Janssen and fishing partner Chuck won the first annual Bonefish & Tarpon Trust, Bonefish Tagging Challenge held at the Belize River Lodge.  This five day fishing tournament was a fun way to support BTT, while catching and tagging as many bonefish as possible to help with the study of fish growth rates and migration patterns.  The winning anglers received custom carved trophies by artist Elvis Samuel’s, Orvis 8wt Helios Rods, Mirage Reels and an assortment of other fishing gear.  We at Live Water Properties encourage all saltwater anglers to support the Bonefish & Tarpon Trust and the fine research and scientists.  We also invite all fishermen to sample the great fishing and lodging offered by the Belize river lodge. » More: 1st Annual BTT Bonefish Tagging Challenge
